Responsibilities include:

1. Develop sales plan for territory including sales goals.
2. Identify companies who not only need our services, but are a very good fit to the type of service we provide.
3. Developing new prospects into long term customers.
4. Travel and meet with potential customers.
5. Identify projects within these clients that are a good fit for the company.
6. Be an on-site “expert” who can sit down with an engineer and proficiently discuss machining and assembly projects.
7. Provide feedback before and after the quote.
8. Provide activity, forecast, and sales results reports to management.
9. Meet or exceed sales goals as agreed to with management.

This job requires a balance of strong technical skills as well as great communication and sales skills. The minimum requirements are:

1. Familiarity with CNC machining – milling and turning
2. Knowledge of most common plating processes such as anodize and chem. film, painting, etc.
3. Familiarity with material properties of metals such as plastics, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.
4. Knowledge of different types of hardware such as helicoils, pins, fasteners, PEM hardware, etc.
5. Ability to work primarily on the road, from home, or from the office
6. Very strong communication skills
7. Great organizational skills
